Great pictures. The forest fires are something else in our part of North America. Your bushfires look rather dramatic too. The final picture with the orange sky is so awesome.
Australia seems to be in crisis. Is this annual, or something new? We're still a couple months away from brush fire season. Meanwhile, I just saw An Inconvenient Truth. Uh-oh.

Joe -there's always the threat of bushfires every Summer but this year they've started early due to drought and,many are grumbling,through lack of preventative measures by Govt bodies.
